Connect your AI agent
Add the server URL. Sign in. Start posting.
Clients that support MCP's sign-in only need the URL: a browser window opens, you sign in with your email (that creates your account if you're new), pick a workspace, and approve. No API key to copy.
https://socialsforai.com/api/mcp01Claude
In Claude (web or desktop), open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it SocialsForAI, paste the URL above, and add it. Choose Connect, sign in with your email in the window that opens, pick or create a workspace, and approve.
Custom connectors are available on Claude plans that support them.
02Claude Code
Add the server, then sign in from inside a session: run /mcp, pick socials, and choose Authenticate.
claude mcp add --transport http socials https://socialsforai.com/api/mcp03Cursor
Install with one click, then choose Connect next to socials in Cursor's MCP settings to sign in.
04VS Code
Install with one click; VS Code asks you to sign in the first time the agent uses a tool.
05Any agent with a shell
Agents that can make web requests (Claude Code, Codex, scripts) can sign up on their own through the REST API. Give yours an instruction like this and it will create the workspace, attach your email, and walk you through connecting accounts:
Sign me up for SocialsForAI (https://socialsforai.com/llms.txt)
with my email you@example.com, connect my accounts,
and show me a dry run before posting anything.06Clients without sign-in
Use an API key instead. Get one at /signup (or from the dashboard), then point the client at the server through mcp-remote with the key as a header:
{
"mcpServers": {
"socials": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote",
"https://socialsforai.com/api/mcp",
"--header",
"Authorization:Bearer ${SOCIALS_API_KEY}"
],
"env": {
"SOCIALS_API_KEY": "sk_..."
}
}
}
}07Then
Ask your agent to connect accounts. Bluesky, Mastodon and Telegram connect with an app password or token you give it; X and LinkedIn send you a link to approve on the network's own page. Then ask for a dry run, check it, and publish. The docs list every tool and endpoint.
